CLAUSES

clause is a subordinate clause that describes a noun or
pronoun.
e.g
- The purse that she gave me is so cute.
- I lived in a town where everyone was
tall.
🧃An adverb clause is a
subordinate or dependent clause that modifies a verb
adjective or an adverb.
e.g
- If it rains tomorrow, we will cancel the trip.
- Everleigh bought toys after her dance
class.
🧃 A noun clause is a
subordinate clause used as a noun. It can be used as a subject, a direct object, an indirect object,
object of a preposition or a predicate noun.
e.g
- I am going to buy whatever she likes.
- He had nothing to do with what I did.
